Established in 2008 in Cape Town, BMJ designs is a full-service Architectural studio. The studio can service any area in South Africa, presently based in Knysna, Western Cape, South Africa.
BMJ – designs is recognised for its private houses and sustainable design approach. However, the practice has also worked across a range of commercial projects from restaurants, and bakeries to bridges.

BMJ Designs is a one-wo(man) team, Brigs as everyone calls me. I often joke about being the tea lady, the designer, the project manager, and the accountant. Many hats make each work day never a carbon copy of the last. I am present throughout the process of the design and the build.
